AMARYLLIS

The  Amaryllis, sister ship to the Fleur de Lys, was converted from a vintage 1962 Dutch hull barge, to its current incarnation as an upscale charter vessel in St. Jean de Losne, France.  The decor was created by some of the most respected names in interior design from France and Italy, and with great attention to detail.  The specially designed very large windows allow for a constant panoramic view of the passing countryside and villages.

Each room has been meticulouly decorated in traditional style with a mixture of contemporary and antique Louis XVI and XV furniture, complimented with occasional tables from Florence.  The fabrics are by Nobilis and Nina Campbell.  A Venetian chandelier, hanging in front of an antique mirror, highlights the stairway design.

Her four super-spacious (240 sq. ft.), elegantly appointed staterooms, each with its own color scheme, are paneled in framire.  The ensuite bathrooms have double marble sinks.

The separate formal dining room features a stunning trompe l'oeil wall mural.  Cristofle flatware and Villeroy & Bosch china complete the casually elegant dining ambiance.  The Amaryllis is centrally air-conditioned, with individual room controls.  The salon doors can open to the entire width of the boat, creating an extended salon with the canopied deck that is perfect for al fresco dining.

Cruise Itinerary

The Amaryllis cruises some of the most picturesque and historically significant areas of France.  The itinerary varies throughout the season to incorporate romantic Burgundy and the Loire, and south to Beaujolais, Lyon, and Avignon - the heart of Provence.  See detail below.
